Around Christmas time i scripted on this account which is my main account and day later I got banned, I understood why i was banned and even accepted it for what it was. I basically cheated!
Yet when I've gone to make an account and purchase Rust, upon joining a server my account is game banned... I've formatted my hard drive, installed windows again and again. Even tried a new hard drive.
My question is will i ever be able to play Rust again on a new account? The new updates look sick and I just want to be able to play like i did before i scripted... I saw hackers get banned time and time again and they never seemed to run into this problem? so yeah.
I've sent support tickets to EAC yet it takes them ages to respond so maybe someone else can help.
EAC handle all bans and appeals.
No one here can do anything for you - sorry.
Life is depressing without rust...
They made it that getting banned in Rust results in a HWID ban, which in turn auto bans you if you buy Rust again and try to play it. This was done because dedicated cheaters just kept repurchasing the game.
Supposedly the only way around it is to buy a totally new computer as it wouldn't be HWID banned.
Other than that, as the above poster has stated: No one here can help you.
This can't be true. My friend experiences hackers daily on EU 1 and they eventually get banned but always come back, and it's been proved to be the same person - Are you trying to say these hackers are buying a new computer every time they get banned because I know for a fact they aren't.
Its possible that they figured out a way to bypass it. I just know what was said.
Could be, just wondering where did you get this source of information?
It's been mentioned on this board quite a few times over the past few months. Many before you have come to complain about being banned on a freshly made Steam account in time spans ranging from ahalf an hour to instantly after previously being banned and that was the explanation.
There is nothing to be done here, if you hacked you can't play rust again. Trying to evade a ban is even worse so this is not going anywhere.
