Well, considering what's been announced, there looks to be some bloody great new games coming out.
What would be best recommended for me to upgrade?

I'm thinking the CPU is already good enough for next gen, unless I'm wrong?
I think I should get myself a bigger SSD for faster updating etc. (1TB SSD? Any recommendations?)
Considering I have a 4k screen, I imagine a 1080 would be a good idea, is Ti worth it? (or two?!)
How is my RAM looking? 666MHz sounds really low. Not sure what's going on there.
a cpu upgrade will necessitate a new mobo, which will necessitate new ram, so you're kinda locked in with cpu/mobo/ram
(also there's a building subforum that you missed)
Whoops. Sorry! If any mods can move, please do. Apologies!
Yeah, your CPU should fine.
1080TI
I'm holding some serious concern about the 666MHz though, as the general numbers I see about are so much higher. Is it stalling my performance?
It's actually higher than that, it's just that using more than one stick makes it display as lower than it actually is
Ram is very minimal on performance anyways. Your GPU will be the absolute biggest bottleneck above any other component for pretty much 99% of all games.
Having 2 or more sticks doesn't make the ram run at a faster frequency. It does double bandwidth if it's dual channel.
It's half frequency because it's D-D-R.
I was trying to remember what made it display like that but didn't know how to word it, but yeah that
GPU it is, thanks for the help F-Team~!
