This reminded me of Psi Ops. I was almost convinced it was a sequel to it. Still looks really cool though.
The protagonist really looks like Beth from Quantum Break, and even the power stuff looks like less time-focused but souped up versions from the ones in QB. I wonder if this is an indirect sequel or just using the same actress and taking a lot of visual cues from QB.
Yeah, I even looked up Sam Lake's and the actress' twitter to see if there was anything about that.
Maybe it's a placeholder? They did that with QB's main character.
I like the more cartoonish artstyle, QB looked kind of uncomfortable at times with all the uncanny valley bullshit
They don't have to tell us it's a supernatural game. It's by Remedy so we already know it is.
Still no HD remake of that game and that makes me sad, it's a great game.
That said, this game does give me Psi Ops vibes too.
Smoeone in Remedy has been watching Beyond the Black Rainbow.
This looks amazing and I wish more games would make it a point to do cool things with the physics.
I was getting maaad Alan Wake vibes from the trailer, and when the Remedy logo came on I popped a pretty decent boner.
Looks a lot better than Quantum Break. The weapons were so weak and inaccurate, and the powers were very limited too. It became a chore to play near the end. Alan Wake was more fun in the combat sections, and the combat in Alan Wake wasn't meant to be fun.
That gun is hype tho
The trailer is great but Quantum Break was such damn chore, wasted potential, and waste of time that it killed all the hype I had for it
