In this fucking game people is playing from maaany countrys, at this forum a lot of people from different countries(Russia,Ukraine,UK,US,FR,BR,RO,CZ, omg. so lot..), but we must to speak only in English.WTF?

English is just the default diverse language everyone is expected to use, but you do have a point regarding diversity of languages in the forum; maybe have separate forum sections dedicated to other major languages. But, telling a member of staff to Go fuck yourself does not help any cases.

Don't be retarded. The reason the forums are only in English is because most people on the internet can speak English, including you. If Rust had a massive amount of Chinese players, you'd probably wouldn't like to see threads in Chinese about a game you like.

А смысл обижаться, если можно вполне легко исправить ситуацию? За 1,5-2 года можно выучить английский до достаточного для общения уровня. Русский язык нисколько не международный, никто подстраиваться и ради одной только секции Раста нанимать знающих русский в техподдержку не станет.

I mean he's got a point you know, if 50% of the player base is Russian perhaps it is time to employ a Russian mod to help deal the with the language instead of ban on sight.
However, if a discussion started in English, it should stay English, vice versa.
There are plenty of communities that don't deal with with English at all. Some of my family members alone don't use English when surfing the web.

Alright, I really don't give a shit about Rust but I saw this thread on the front page and was curious.

It boils down to this.

This is a UK based forum, and the game itself was made by UK developers.
While the game has servers for other countries, it does not directly mean that the developers fully embrace and can speak those countries' native languages.

Facepunch studios, as far as I'm aware of, does not make enough money to hire moderation teams that are capable of speaking a multitude of languages to moderate only one section out of the entire forum where people may write in a different language. This is also a forum. Not directly customer support.
It's very hard for all the English speaking moderators to monitor threads in a language they can't read to make sure that nobody is breaking any rules, without taking the time to run it through Google translate and have machine translation mangle it.

Does this make any sense to you?
