Yeah, they're called Fox News.
Not surprising. When you employ a den of state-sanctioned hackers and pay them good money, you keep those bastards busy otherwise you're not getting your money's worth.
Why the actual fuck aren't US media outlets holding the Trump administration's feet to the fire on this? A hostile foreign government is engaged in ongoing interference of the US criminal justice system. What steps will the Trump administration take to safeguard our courts of law, and our electoral system? Do they even fucking acknowledge that this is a real issue, and if not, how can the American people trust that this administration has their safety and best interests at heart? These are the questions that need to be asked every single day in White House press briefings. Reporters should be chasing senators and administration officials down on the streets to get them on record. This isn't complicated.
Unfortunately, they were asked that question for months and the response was always: That's fake news, there's no evidence to suggest that, and the President is 'very concerned about keeping America secure'. They will never answer it directly, they will always deflect, and their willingness to deflect knows no bounds. Until there's actual evidence out in the public eye that shows naked intent for Russia interfering in our elections (e.g. an intercept that shows Putin directly ordering 'to shut down the DNC in Minnesota and use all state resources to do so') there's nothing to hold their feet to the fire to because they just keep hacking off the feet that we tie to said fire.
The narrative has shifted from, "Russia didn't meddle in our elections and there was no collusion," to "Russia might have meddled, but it didn't have any impact on the election, and the only collusion was from Angry Democrats." They are pushing their complete inaction on preventing Russia from continuing to attack the foundations of our democracy as somehow being the fault of Democrats and the FBI who won't "let" Trump do anything because Russia Witch Hunt Hoax.
Odd, why is Russia interfering so much to stop an investigation into a clearly stable, sane and innocent man /s
I wonder how many of those text-to-speech Youtube vids my grandmother watches are just Russian bots...
>Prosecutors asked Friedrich to bar any co-defendant of Concord from reviewing evidence until they appear in his courtroom to respond to the charges. I was unaware it was normally even possible to access evidence without first appearing.
Sometimes I feel like Russia is doing these just for kicks, like they have nothing to lose even when they're caught so they just mess around trolling everybody. But sadly these aren't just harming pranks that Internet trolls do as they're putting the livelihood of millions into risk, and might even get people straight up murdered.
Does anyone actually still believe that will be enough and that it won't just be praised as "based russia sticking it to the deep state"?
Yeah. I believe it, for one.
