"Oh no the current generation's impulsive urges are getting progressively more difficult to exploit, let's latch onto the next generation because they are easier targets for our bullshit"
damn generation Zers
Generation Zerg
Here's hoping to god Gen Z likes 80's and 70's music instead of farts for a melody and monotone slanglish for vocals
The entirety of the Gen Z population will listen to In the End by Linkin Park and nothing else.
Considering millenials are about to be 40, well no fucking shit. I've also heard water has hydrogen and oxygen in it
Nah that is just a rumor perpetuated by Coca Cola in order to sell more oxygen.
Hey, look out your window, I think there might be some kids you can tell to get off your lawn.
Do you realize the the "I WAS BORN IN THE WRONG GENERATION" will likely focus on the 2000s and very late 90s?
did you know that old music doesn't expire, it still exists. you can still go and listen to it did you know that there are people out there who are still making precisely the kind of music you like, you just have to seek them out
It can actually be a bit scary, I still feel slightly mindfucked from my last underground musical discovery.
Everyone in the future will like raccoons and rap and there's nothing you can do a bout it.
wait i though millenials were born after the year 2000 how the fuck do generations work again
The systems of the generations is deliberately designed to make you incorrectly assume how they work regardless of what you think, it is a complex interwoven web of 50 parallel graphs that actively encourages other people to pick a different one and then state that a generation does not work in a way that you mentioned.
The definition of each generation is that whichever one you don't want to be associated with is just younger than whatever your age is.
If I recall correctly, millennials are roughly defined as being born anywhere between 1982 and 1995. I was born in '93, and I am 25. Someone as old as 36 years old, by that definition, is technically a millennial. As is anyone as young as 23.
I have to ask who you were listening to that was that intense I like weird jams
Nono, millennials are the ones who were young adults in the 2000s. So 80's and 90's kids.
I was doing my regular underground scavenger hunt and like literally one of the first songs I found was this shit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k06IIfHrMI0 And I kind of couldn't continue the scavenger hunt afterwards.
If you continued the scavenger hunt a tiny bit, you'd find out that the second song on that album is called Swedish Meatballs
Yep, having a song about alien antiquity and Swedish Meatballs on one album was part of the surprise.
Listen to death grips
Can confirm I've never listened to anything but In the End

None really matter other than baby boomers anyway
I'm going to pretend this post is a wishing well and throw a coin in it.
You don't even have to go underground to find 70s and 80s style music. Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman, and Trevor Rabin (formerly of Yes) are dropping a new album next year and Jon is also releasing a solo album he has been working on for 20 years. Former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett is still releasing solo albums and touring playing Genesis songs (the good kind like Firth of Fifth). King Crimson still tours and releases live albums. There are plenty of others still going at it too.
If they start using the format of those Snapchat news sections on that Discover tab I'm gonna have to fucking die plus I hope everyone realizes that kids/young people really don't use facebook that much anymore.
they're gonna be real shocked when they realize that generation z is even further steeped in shitposting / internet culture and will probably be even less receptive to their bullshit.
