I think its less there's more of it these days and more, people who support these views have come into power and now every neo nazi and generally repulsive minded human being is coming out of the wood work, validated in their views by these people. We just never noticed it because for a while it was kept low-key, odds are they've been waiting for a divisive time like this and are now taking advantage of it to make their views known and spread.
