Prior presidents have accomplished more while conceding less. That Trump didn't cause WW3 in Singapore is commendable in the same way that my commute to work not resulting in the deaths of 18 3rd graders in a school zone is commendable.
I'd like to know how this is better than what obama did with cuba
It wasn't Obama's work.
Just reading the title is like, how could talking about peace and not going to nuclear war have been a step in the wrong direction? Like I get trump is an idiot and could have fucked it up but thats like "why not attacking your siblings with a butter knife at dinner time is a step in the right direction" as if there was an alternative that was also a step in the right direction which involved attacking them?
And insulting Trudeau while quitting the G7 summit like a fucking tamper tantrumming toddler is what?
A matter of national security, obviously
Not to mention that he almost ended up calling the whole thing off and failing miserably
I'd honestly disagree, many of Trumps plans will just prop up north koreas oppressive regime, fuck the stupid idiot has even gone as far as to compliment them. He's set a terrible precedent so far.
If this was a step in the right direction what was Iran?
i usually agree with the humanist report but not this time. its a huge slap in the face to the rest of the world. i do agree that its a good thing that the meeting went "well" (at least it didn't make things worse). also i've never heard kim jong un speak before, i did not expect him to sound that like haha.
