Also, since it's related to the first story, the house is working on bills to stop this policy of separating immigrant kids from their parents, but the passage does not look promising

Wtf is this shit
Now! That's What I Call Fascism
You see complete disregard for human life is okay because they broke the law, and the law is the final arbiter on what's good or not.
That picture of Trump conveniently shadows out his neck flab and shows him with more hair.
Don't break the law you don't lose your kids. Open borders doesn't work and that is what the ultimate goal of "fixing" immigration is. Go through the process like everyone else that has and then you can be here Hopping the border just shows you have no regard for our rule of law. Is this sad that the kids are taken from their parents? Yes. Could they have avoided this situation? Yes. Did they? No.
How soon until Trump supporters start carrying around giant portraits of him at rallies?
Ok, so what about the kids. Do you know if they got to choose to go with their parents or not? Not like they can say “No, papa, I think I’ll stay by myself in Mexico.” Think before you post.
I guess getting murdered by cartels is what should be expected of law-abiding foreigners.
Imagine being so poorly adjusted and strange that you write this shit out and don't immediately feel sick about yourself.
The size of this dudes ego jesus christ
Yeah man, I bet those kids really regret letting them selves be born now. Because like that's a choice, right?
Speeding counts as breaking the law.
Go over 31 mph in a 30 mph zone? We'll come and take your kids. Unregulated roads don't work and that is what the ultimate goal of speed limits are. Going over the speed limit just shows you have no regard for our rule of law. Is it sad that we're separating families? Yes. Could they have avoided it? Yes.
what do you mean there's a car behind you with cartel members in it that have already shot your car several times and are trying to kill you
that's no excuse to go over 30 mph
You unfailingly flee the thread when your Cult 45 talking points are challenged because you don't actually have any idea what you're talking about, and are thus incapable of defending your point, but I'm just going to say this anyway: children are being ripped away from asylum seekers, too, and that is a form of legal immigration.
Simply put, @Sgt.Sickness has lost his humanity in deference to the current immigration policy (which is already needlessly one of the harshest in the world, even before Trump saying they need extreme vetting.)
It's very easy and seems like the moral high ground to say "just follow the legal channels" but no-one's choice should ever be "hope the cartels don't kill me" vs "hope the ICE doesn't split me from my family, never to see them again"
But not everything that is easy is right.
you owe me an apology for all the secondhand embarassment you just made me feel
If you go to prison for breaking the law and your extended family doesn't take the children they become the governments responsibility. Parents do not get a say because they are criminals.
the first human being to send a post from a pile of elephant shit they somehow connected to the internet
Any children that are unfortunate enough to have parents incarcerated are "ripped away from their parents". Including a lot of babies still breastfeeding. But of course, they are given to their closest relatives. For illegal aliens I doubt it's very common for them to have relatives to be passed to. So, these children have no other family to stay with, no other friends to stay with, what else is there to do? With the massive surge of these helpless children, of course space and resources are limited for the time being.
I will clarify that I do not support the asylum seekers being punished with this policy.
I will also clarify (I find it sad that I have to) that I do not support children being taken away from their mothers in the middle of actually breastfeeding.
And yet our government is doing a right shit job at their responsibility. They lost over 1,400 children. They’ve sexually assaulted and abused several others. Funny that you don’t hear about this happening to American children taken from criminal parents.
This isn’t Lawful vs. Lawless; these are people’s lives being ruined by a despot and his personal secret police.
when the president is using his office to help his allies avoid punishment for their crimes this "the law is the law" shit really stops holding water
It seems you do support the act of seperating the kids and the parents by what you've written here.
Immigration law in the US has steadily gotten more fucked up as the right has applied more stereotypes and propaganda against the "outsiders" and managed to change both public perception and the legal hurdles that need to be jumped through.
There are serious issues with legally immigrating to the US, and the US relies on these people immigrating and has for a long time. It's always been a fascinatingly tone deaf argument to witness when the reality is what it is. The dehumanizing way the US treats criminals is no justification to continue to treat peoples in inhumane and inane ways that only worsen the problem they've been created to eliminate.
I find it sad that someone has to clarify to you that treating criminals in inhumane ways is still fucking inhumane.
I love the part where you can legally get into the country and live strictly by the rules, and that being a true 'illegal' doesn't even matter according to ICE, and that the immigration process is so insanely unfair and difficult that you're better off just coming here as an illegal anyways.
almost as if this is all bullshit and Trump is an idiot.
Asylum seekers are not criminals. They have broken no laws. Children are being ripped away from them. I've already stated this, and you've chosen to ignore it. It's increasingly clear that you don't know what you're talking about, and aren't willing to learn, so why are you wasting your time (and ours) in pretending otherwise?
The situation is unfortunate. But these children are given beds, a roof over their head, food to eat, an education, exercise, and they are allowed to call their parents, and or other relatives if the parents are unreachable. Not to mention, a large portion of the children in these facilities are there by their own doing.
I'm sure the conditions they are in here are much better than those their parents had to flee from.
Is this you?

I'm sure the odds of being sold into sexual slavery are well within acceptable parameters!
they also go missing and now they are planning to have them stay at military bases. What a fun ol time in mister trump's wild ride.
