This man is doing the things nobody else wants to do that need to be done, he is one of humanities most valuable assets. To simply refuse to let the world cater to your every need yet go out and challenge global problems with every resource available to themselves, every bit of accomplishment earned, the summation of their lifes work is a testimant to the human spirit when personal barriers are broken and limits tested.
Elons drive and ambition are admirable and humbling from my perspective and whats more importantly inspiring.
I mean I don't deny that he's doing some admirable things but the dudes still a douche. He threatens and rages at anyone gives him even the slightest negative press. His near-trumpian tendency to declare any news he doesn't like as biased is a major issue, from Top Gear to NYT.
I don't believe focusing on the mans poor social qualities or personality lessens his accomplishments or legacy, one could even draw parallels to Steve Jobs being a massive asshole to work for and being labelled an 'idiot' for turning to alternative medicine to treat his cancer at the end of his life.
I don't think pointing out an individuals flaws is a constructive counter argument to finding someones accomplishments inspiring nor do I think it mitigates my opinion of his efforts.
At the end of the day what will notably live on is that persons legacy built upon some respectable principals.
