• Hammer total distruction

I have total distruction of my hammer..... *.bsp wont update and map looks like this ! I tried to do everythinh: hide all areaportals, hide everything except simple geometry and static props. Nothing helped. Can someone help me ? please One more thing: i tried to copy entire map to new vmf Not works But i have a microbrush (Not my fault - i'm working on map with my friend and he did this). Compile log: log.txt (last row means "Cant Find file") It seems that hammer just skips creating *.bsp and running command "Copy" Why ?? It's skipping compiling because there's something it doesn't like. Have you hit any hard limits like max brushes? Try using the cordon tool to section off sections of the map and see which parts work and which parts cause it to skip compiling.
You can read? Do you not see the errors in the log? If you fix those it should atleast spew out a bsp real quick.
Problem dissapears when I toggle off half of map. I tried to do max of func_detail but it does not helped. Whne i compile entire map, problem like on video happens.
Fix your occluders You have nodraw on displacements You have an overlay touching too many faces change the VMF/BSP to lowercase
Overlays touch too many faces will cause your compile to crash.
Fixed. new compile log - log.txt . The same problems. ( I hided all displacements )
light has _fifty_percent_distance of 50.000000 but _zero_percent_distance of 26.000000 Fix this error, I had this cause my map lighting to fail.
Did you ever find that microbrush? If not, that's the only thing left that I can think of that could cause this.
