I didn't see a thread about this and I looked inside a few and found nothing, but as of right now I don't see the "Following threads" tab or whatever it was called. Now it's just a singular drop down menu for all alerts and sorting through tons of ratings to see if anyone replied to me or the thread I was following has any new replies is fucking cancer. Look at this:

At the very least, is there somewhere I can turn off the ratings from this menu? I'm annoyed by a lot of things with the new forums, but they're all either bearable or something I know will improve in the future and I can deal with now. But this is absolutely horrendous.

I get merging the ratings and account notifications since the account one was pretty much just for when you level up but lumping in thread subscriptions is just silly.
Being notified about ratings, especially with my number of posts, is insane, because its constant and I get ratings from threads that were posted years ago sometimes.
I uBlocked the ratings icon, and now that's pointless. Thread reply notifications was useful because it was constant and better than the ticker, now it's basically worthless.
Nobody asked for this, what the hell.
Is a random neural network making these changes?
Unfortunately for people like you there's not even anything that can really be done about this at the moment either, short of a userscript. The only stuff in the html that can identify those notifications as ratings ones is fairly deep down in the code for them so you can't use something like uBlock or custom CSS to hide them.
"It was fine the way it was" aptly describes the last couple of major changes to the forum.

I like rating alerts, but not them clogging up my follows.
Ratings shouldn't show there anymore. If they do it's because you're being rated on a server that didn't get the update yet.
Why were a bunch of threads locked?

Ok I'm actually ok with scrapping ratings alert just on a personal level because fuck me were those annoying.
I'm sure others liked them, but damn, those were bad.
Okay, this is much better than I thought it was going to be. I really like the follow thread feature and knowing when people reply to me so that's what matters most.
I really liked a ratings tab too, to be honest, what inspired this change?
