Hello guys i have problem with my serwer i can't find it on modded/community why? I just create it and i can't search it can someone help me ? i can join only by ip
Long running issue with Rust. A lot of servers just don't list. It's nothing you did unless you have EAC and VAC turned off. That will prevent you from being listed. Gary said sometime last month that this was fixed. It wasn't. It was said some time before that that this was fixed. It wasn't. There's a chance your server will list randomly. And then it will be gone again. If you are running your server from home. There is a chance there is a fix. But there is no proof that this works. It's just a post on Reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/playrust/comments/8pc5ox/is_your_server_not_showing_in_the_rust_client/ Aside from that. If you are paying for your service. You're just going to have to hope that at some point it will list and people will log on and it will stay in their history. And their friends will join them. I have random people find my server through battlemetrics by searching for the lowest ping. Other than that my traffic has plummeted since the servers stopped listing. I'm paying for a dedicated server and I'm lucky if 2 of my 3 servers list.
So I stand corrected. Somewhat. If your host is willing to do/can do this for you. It works. I showed my host this article, and they disabled IPv6 for me. I searched and all my servers came up instantly. I had a couple other people search for me and they had the same result. I waited until all my servers went through their scheduled restarts just to be sure. And they are still listing. So if you run your server from home disable IPv6 yourself. The options are different for most versions of windows. So take your time searching for the how to. The Linux how to depends on your flavor and what you use to control your network adapter if I remember correctly. If you have a host, just ask and send them the Reddit post. It worked for me.
