Just because the Nintendo Switch is handheld doesn't mean Nintendo's let go of their precious, successful handheld child, the Nintendo 3DS. Touting two screens and a glasses-less 3D gimmick, the 3DS is still alive and well. There are three families of the 3DS line: 2DS, 3DS, and New 3DS. New Nintendo 3DS features improved 3D, more buttons, and doubled processing power to support higher-spec games.

The DS4 works great on the Switch. Have two paired with 8bitdo wireless bluetooth adapters. Didn't notice any input lag. Use the DS4 mainly for fighter games so I haven't tested motion or rumble. There is also a Mayflash adapter that has more flexibility and it supports wired usb controllers. BTW the 8bitdo controllers are too wide to plug in side by side if you plan to get two. Pick up a usb extension or hub if you plan to get more than one.

Surpass the hero within is actually just training for what online will be like in a little while as it gets taken over by hackers
Nintendo General - Here is how Waluigi can still be in Smash.
https://kotaku.com/do-squid-kids-eat-squid-splatoon-s-producer-explains-1826865317
“One thing we know about the world of Splatoon is that mammals are basically gone,” said Nogami, seated across from me in a small room behind Nintendo’s booth. “So they don’t eat beef or pork or the meat of mammals.” With Splatoon 2 playing on a screen, Nogami walked his Inkling over to a corner in Inkopolis square where a bright ad played for cereal. A crab chowed down on a bowl of milky carbs. “There’s no mammals, so whatever is being poured over the cereal might not be milk,” Nagomi laughed.
I think he's making a joke but I'm not sure.
woah I had no idea this was possible.
Somewhat related question, is it possible to send controller inputs to multiple receivers (8bitdo or otherwise)? In other words simultaneously controlling a Switch and a PC using only 1 controller?
1) One way this could work is connecting a wired controller to the PC via USB, while also being connected to the Switch (or 8bitdo) with Bluetooth. Would that work?
2) The other way I'm thinking is to split the controller output in 2 Bluetooth signals. I know you can only connect regular Bluetooth emitters to 1 device (ie. 1 Switch or 1 PC), but there are Bluetooth transmitters/splitters for audio that let you connect multiple headphones to it, effectively allowing 1 phone (emitter) to send signal to 2 headphones (receivers).
So in theory it should be possible to connect a controller to a "thing", then connect that "thing" to both a Switch and a PC.
Only spoilers if you know the context

why is this thread in the Mario subforum
god why do we still have a fucking Mario subforum
should probably rename "mario" to "nintendo"
Yeah it works with PC (usb cable) and Switch (8bitdo wireless adapter). Button input registered on both devices.
Tried pairing the controller with two 8bitdo adapters but the previous link gets reset when you pair it with a new adapter.
At this point I'm just saying fuck it and treating it like the Nintendo subforum that it should be. Hell the next Pokemon thread should just be posted here with this in the OP:

Is it possible to unlock Agent 8's outfit for inkopolis?
Also that fucking statue final boss holy shit. I wish the base campaing had a finale that amazing
Team No Pulp
Also, just finished the main story part of the Octo Expansion. I enjoyed it overall, a lot of the levels had some pretty creative ideas. Fuck the grind rail and rainmaker/tower control stages though. The final "boss" was kind of annoying too. Took me a few tries since the layout was kind of confusing, and you only get 3 minutes to learn it. Even when I beat it, I only had like 5 seconds left on the clock
It was worth it to finally get playable Octolings though. They look better than the Inklings both in appearance and animations IMO. It sucks that they aren't an alt costume in Smash
I suspect that there's going to be a large number of "Echo Fighters". Octolings would be perfect for it.
Anyone who likes OJ with pulp has some seriously plebeian taste.
Pulp is grOSS. I can't stand how it slithers down your throat.
I'm like the only one who likes pulp in every Discord I've talked to. Nintendo really found the perfect Splatfest to outcast me in.

ARMS turns 1 year old today.
Now see, I don't get that. It just adds a bit of texture in your mouth.
Honestly, I'll drink either. Sometimes I'm in a pulp mood, sometimes I'm in a pulpless mood, but I'll drink whatever's available. Pulp is fun, but the best-tasting orange juice out there is Valencia orange juice and I've only ever seen that in pulpless.
Had not taken into consideration that I could just straight up be spoiled once I enter the plaza
Freaked out for a moment that I was already seeing people walking around with end game gear, but thankfully it's just the null armor - which looks absolutely god tier btw
