CGI doesn't look too bad (at least from what the trailer shows), which is the downfall of like 90% of all anime live-action adaptations. Hopefully not too much of the aesthetic of the anime is lost like the GitS live action remake.

Jin-roh's facist army uniform was iconic, esp the mg42 they lugged around.
IIRC Jin-Roh inspired the Helghast designs in Killzone. Helghast are baller.
Those cars tho. This is supposed to be post-WW2, fascist Japan.
They changed the setting since this is a Korean movie In the year 2029, South and North Korea agree to set up a unified government. They have prepared for the unification for the past 5 years. Meanwhile, demonstrators, supporting and opposing the unification, become more fierce. A terror organization known as Sect" appears. They are against unification. A special police force is formed in response, while a powerful government intelligence agency is also against unification.
Can we get a fucking Killzone film where the Helghast win please also i never knew that Korea had so many action films that i've never heard of before, i wish there was a wiki of them run by what are korean weebs called? Koreaboos?
future soldiers running around with MG-34's is kinda silly but whatever, it's Jinroh so it oughta be good.
The actors look perfect for the roles so far.
Looks good, and reminded me of a time when I was almost obsessed with the Kerberos troops.
Just because of the gritty style of the original anime, I can actually see this working really, really well.
