Can someone please explain to me why Silencer needs to STEAL INT instead of just having an INT GAIN like Pudge's flesh heap?
To punish low int casters.
Technical reason: Pudge would be OP if he actually stole STR, and it wouldn't work with retroactivity. Thematically it makes more sense for him to steal STR than for silencer to not steal INT.
Thematic reason: Silencer's lore says he fucks up mages and makes them unable to cast spells, that is what his passive does.
I remember seeing a Pudge that lost so much int he couldn't cast hook with a full mana pool

So recalibration dropped me from Archon 3 to Crusader 5.
But I think I discovered the hero to save me from the trench: Elder Titan.
Nobody seems to know he exists in 2k, they stand on top of my spirit as I stomp and off lane is a breeze so I get to smack cores around with no trouble. Best play was stomping on a Void who chrono'd my whole team as he jumped on us. We lost the game because of a throw but shit did I stunt on them that game.
Is half your team south american with you Spectre refusing to get radiance because its "useless" and the other team has 4 cores? Their sniper consistently stands on top of my spirit, they all come at me as my aura removes their defenses for my team. We started losing early but turned it around with smart plays.

That reads like a terrible play. If you're objective is to dunk children then keep on it, but what happens when you get back to your true level?

I didn't say that. I said it's bad strategy to spend your time doing something that will only work on 2k imbeciles.
Spamming any hero you're good at is a good strategy for 2k.
I opened a bunch of the TI caches trying to get the techies set. I didn't get it yet.
One of two options:
a. I go back to my regular picks.
b. I adapt and overcome, becoming a better player overall.
As I climbed the mmr I could feel the heat as players started picking up on what briefcase man does but my teammates continued TO BREAK MY SLEEP DURATION ON THEM.
Has anyone ever done Carry CM?
Carry CM is shit and you're very likely throwing the game if you do it
She has an attack speed talent at level 20, that is literally the only thing that supports a carry build.
Why does she have that talent? Is it a talent that is supposed to give her carry potential, or did Icefrog just throw it in to see what people do with it.
I'd assume the latter
A lot of supports have damage talents at level 10 because that allows them to do things when they're not casting spells, +90 damage is insanely good on a hero like Rubick who will probably spend most of the teamfight waiting for his cooldowns to recharge. Carry builds/talents for CM make slightly less sense because she has a long channeled spell, during which she can't attack (and if you go for a carry build, you just have an useless ultimate)
So what about supports without long channeled ults? Lich has 2 "carry" talents for instance.
I mean if you're specifically wondering why Lich can't be played as a carry is because he lacks potential to anything later in the game.
Yeah if you put him in mid you can win your lane pretty easily with Sacrifice and Frost Blast harass, and you get some pretty sick talents for your right clicks, but nothing will really change the fact that you're frail as hell, have nothing in the way of defensive items, and no mobility aside from decent base MS.
those talents are more like you're tired of your bitch ass pos1 not meeting dead ends and you, somewhat farmed thanks to kill stealing, have an option to switch to a makeshift dps carry.
Lich can enable himself into a carrymode much more easily because he gets his DPS talent 5 levels earlier than CM, he has a spell that makes him much more durable (ice armor), he has more AGI and INT gain than CM and he can bully the enemy mid quite easily.
Though I still wouldn't call him a proper carry. His talents merely allow him to have presence during lategame fights when magic damage is starting to fall off heavily compared to physical damage.
I think the attack speed talent for CM is to counterattack all the "Hit X times to kill" units like tombstone/sigil/wards that used to just have hp.
In response to the reportathon that I complained about on the end of the other thread..
Came from a game where my teammates piledrived mid, then instead of going bot and racking in bot tower and racks, they kept going after a couple of enemy heroes, to no effect, ending up in the rest of the team respawning and killing everyone.
30 minutes later, we still haven't figured out that we have to push bot and top to counter NP and TB's split push and divide the team, keep going for kills spreaded around the map, delay the game further giving more space for NP to slowly push while dying in teamfights, until we lose.

Like, full disclosure, I'm not good, but what the hell? Just how one dimensional can a moba player be that he/she can't look at a game with a straight face, think for a couple of minutes and not realize that the problem isn't "DURRR FEEDER" or "DURR NO TEAM"?
Mid literaly wide open to take out the two towers even, and you keep killing enemy heroes, but nope, the problem is weaver.
It's also insanely good when you have Drow on your team
When CM hits level 20 her carries should already be level 25, who have much higher attack speed due to natural agility gain and attack speed items.
CM's talent is purely a meme, though that doesn't make it bad. It only becomes bad if you base your entire build around it right from the start.
