My friend's are arguing that the Logitech gaming software get's you banned for having it installed on your pc is this true or not?

A while ago some people thought they were slick by setting up Logitech mouse software to trigger their cheats on button push. The logic behind this was they thought that doing so would cause EAC to detect the mouse software instead of the cheats. Using Logitech software the way it was intended is safe otherwise as the above poster has stated there would be a lot more banned people.
For the record, in the past people have tried to claim everything from AIM and other messenger programs to friggin Photoshop triggered a ban if running while Rust is running. Anything to try and seem innocent.
