Welcome to Nintendo (mobile) General, where we talk about Fire Emblem Heroes and only Fire Emblem Heroes. Please take all other discussion elsewhere. :plsunderstand:
If you somehow don't already know about all of Nintendo's recent mobile endeavors, check out this article.
Nintendo now develops mobile titles via a partnership with DeNA. These games take Nintendo's franchises and adapt them into mobile genres. They are all high-quality productions, but feature simplified gameplay to suit the mobile market.
And no, Nintendo didn't make Pokémon GO.
Current Mobile Game Lineup

A premium paid auto-runner with no micro transactions. Mario starts each level and runs from the left side of the screen to the right and tapping makes him jump. Pretty simple concept and one I'm sure you've seen before in similar titles. The thing that sets it apart from others though is that the multiple playable characters all offer different styles of jumping. Luigi of course has a higher hop, Peach can float etcetc.
You can gain extra characters by playing Toad Rally where you and other players can place bets on who can get the highest score in a single run of a level. Get enough Toads and you can buy decorations that unlock the rest of the cast (as well as decorations you can place in the hub screen, but they honestly don't do anything as far as I can tell.)
The game also features a Remix mode that takes a bunch of levels, makes them even shorter, and has you rapid fire through them Wario Ware style in rapid succession. It's honestly a lot of fun!

Fire Emblem Heroes is a free to play game that yanks characters from the entire series and lets you use them to clear small tactics based boards. While it starts off a little too easy the mid-late game will ask you to actually think about your moves and positioning and in that regard it's a pretty good tactics game you can enjoy on the fly!
It features arena battles, a full story mode, seasonal event maps and more. It's feature rich!
To get more heroes though you have to spend a in-game currency (orbs) in a typical gacha fashion. You can gain orbs through gameplay or via microtransactions. There's a system involved with colors and classes but I'll choose to let the in game tutorial walk you through that part. Just know that if you like this kind of game you're going to be tempted by the orb gods.
FE:H Also frequently has seasonal updates featuring characters in goofy costumes with unusual stats so if you're determined to stay F2P it might be a good idea to hold onto any orbs you gain until a new event pops up.
Seriously though, this game is a juggernaut and the front runner for Nintendo's mobile market. You really don't have to worry about the game dying anytime soon.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

AC:PC is another game that's F2P to somewhat mixed results.
Players are tasked with designing a small camp site to lure in their favorite villagers, which you can then do menial tasks for in the hopes of getting schematics for new things to build or materials in general. Such activities involve fishing and bug catching and... that's about it honestly. The games best described as a mix of the mainline Animal Crossing and the spin-off Happy Home Designer. It's something where you can just relax and decorate with granted you sink enough time into it. Like the main series don't look for a end game, just enjoy the experience.
(But seriously Nintendo, when are we getting another main line game?!)

Special thanks to Shugo for doing the heavy lifting on this thread!
Ah yes, the mobile thread. How do you do, fellow Miitomo players?
Any of you lads fancy a game of Pokémon Duel?
Still no Scoot in ACPC, 2/10
I'm basically still here, drinking beverages with Alfonse and Gunnthrá's ghost. The liquids are going right through her!
Blef, I really hate this bonus unit roster for TT. I'm kind of bias since I didn't roll for the new banner, but not a single blue unit? A little bumpy for the auto-battle side for me.
I had to swap regular Nino out for Soleil because 3 green units on one team just kind of cripples you a bit.
Raudrblade on Canas, yes or no?
Bladetomes are usually best on characters that have the chance to double. Tharja, Nino, M!Morgan, Katarina, Linde, Ishtar, Tailtiu and Delthea are good examples. All Cavalry, Flier and Armor mages have easy access to +6 to all starts through Hone and Fortify and thus all make good bladetome users.
Canas has a worse offensive spread than the character you get Redblade from, as well as limited merges and no IVs. If you REALLY like Canas you could, but it wouldn't be efficient.
Tried to go for Bride Tharja, got +10 gay daughter instead:

Too bad that I am barely touching this game besides daily log in orbs because my attention went to FGO.
Compared to FEH it just has more content (also I managed to pull Jeanne Alter and Mama Raikou so there's that).
People seem to be theorizing Tana and Innes, which is a pretty good guess, IMO.
I wonder if they're going to do two banners again this year like ylisse/nohr last year
Well.. on the schedule it shows two special banners overlapping each other, so it seems pretty strong.
I swear, people are WAY too good at guessing those silhouettes.
I thought the left silhouette was Tatiana at first. Would kill for beach-themed alts for Tatiana and Zeke.

If that's Tharja's daughter from Awakening I'm sold
Good lord that Noire powercreeps even Summer Corrin. She even shoots coconut arrows?

It has legit FEH artists with those sprites, so it seems real enough.
Jesus fucking Christ, that summer Noire art's chest is just stupid. Tana, by comparison, looks really good.
All weapons give +2 to all stats when initiating, except Tana's, whose weapon gets +3 Speed and universal Guidance at <50% health. Playerphase versions of last year's summer banner weapons, that worked on both phases if your health was at 100% at the start of battle.
Has a similar special effect with Swift Sparrow 1 and Bracing Blow 1.

More Awakening characters. I think I'm going to give this one a pass as well. I think I'll wait for the next banner or try and go for Pegasi Nino.
Hell yeah, PoR summer.
Nephenee in a bathing suit but still with her helmet on.
Titania in a one-piece bathing suit is gonna be hazardous to my bank account.
My bank account is still untouched, though. I'll talk to Joshua instead.
Neph, but the helmet is a plastic bucket instead, and wields a plastic shovel for an Axe.
Pull til you get declined!

Well here's the official video. I am... really interested in Tana's A slot.
The summer unit video is out, and Noire has, well
Infantry Rush 3
Infantry allies within 2 spaces gain: "If unit's Atk >= foe's Atk+1, grants Special cooldown +1 per attack. (Only the highest value applied. Does not stack.)"
Basically, Drive Heavy Blade.
Holy fuck.
I'm really interested in Tana, since we're still not getting any flying red mages.
Also, Noire's C skill, what the fuuuuuuck.
They've introduced something like 5 or 6 new mechanic sets in the past month between waves and feints and pushes and links and whatnot I don't think many of them are going to be used much, or at least not as widely as other kits. Mostly because we'll never see them in the normal summon pool. Fuck seasonal units.
Infantry rush looks good but the rise of mixed teams and tactic skill usage makes me think it won't be used as widely as previous skills. I can def see dragon infantry picking it up to cheese special cooldowns on both defense and offense.
Dull Close... Should I give Valentine Eliwood Distant Counter instead?
