Is it better to upgrade T1/2 rather than buying T3 now?
In some cases it is a better idea, the upgrade system really favors low tier weapons. Along with that low tier weapons tend to keep a cheap ammo price compared to higher tier guns making them easy to keep loaded.
God fucking damn, I just about shit myself when the boss intro video started playing again while I was already fighting the boss. It's very easy to get by without using upgrades at all so I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about other than the fact that all they do is upgrade damage which is lazy as shit. The biggest problem I see with it is just that players are less inclined to share money which was already uncommon to begin with.
Yeah it's badly implemented system that adds basically nothing to the game, save your money or share it, upgrading weapons (besides the 9mm and starter guns) is a waste of money.
A lot of the upgrades tend to end up being overkill on trash zeds, and not really making a difference for big zed takedowns, aside from some T4 weapons like RPG, and Railgun. It's kinda why I think only upping the damage was another mistake with the system.
Medic weapons do increase the recharge rate for needles, but it's not really mentioned anywhere in the game.
Well, they could add the tickets drop as a different type of drop, so you can drop an item and at same time a ticket and it wouldn't count towards the 6 item drops you have. Also they need rework the whole "3 hours cooldown" system, is just flawed at this point considering how the game is played and how long it takes the matches
Yeh, there should be at least some kind of reward for doing Endless 25 waves or higher, otherwise it just feels like if you want to get your drop do a Survival first to get it then do Endless later, otherwise is a waste of time

How about this: Instead of upgrading your weapons, you upgrade stats on your perk. Demo can get larger explosion radius, medic more efficacy, support tougher armor, commando more damage or ammo and so on.
Weapons should get specific upgrades, based on the stats, rather than an arbitrary damage boost. IE Medic SMG upgrades Dart recharge speed/Reduces recoil, SG500 upgrades the firing speed, Hemoglobin/Freezethrower increases the speed to apply their respective debuffs, RPG/Railgun reduce their weight by 1.
Yeah but that would require work and they won't fucking do that because they're annoying shits and make changes without actually asking people if they like what they're going to change, it's quicker to just do shit and not care, I mean this shit was in beta for fuck sake, surely someone complained, but they just got ignored.
or letting you choose what to upgrade, i.e. fire rate, magazine size, ammo cost, etc.
It is more worthwhile but that's the point, basically gambling potentially more money than the item is worth to get something really nice. I didn't really get much nice though.

I hope they're gonna add more pistols next. Taurus Judge for support, Mk23 for commando, G19c for SWAT. It'd offer a lotta potential for mixing and matching loadouts, with the 'upgrade' system and all, and how wonky the weight shit is. Having some reliable, lightweight side-arms that isn't the shitty 9mm, with its gimped-ass fire rate and ammo pool would be pretty neat.
If it means genuine new characters with voice acting, I don't mind paying for them. Fuck all this random chance lootbox noise tho.

Also for the record I like the changes to the 9mm. Not sure how itll work with the commando and swat fallback perks but it works really well to pop those stray clots or crawlers you see.

I think you posted that before and I still don't understand what's so special about it?
Reload animation and sound, firing sound is also nice, but it's mainly the animation and sound. I know I've posted it before, but I also posted it when it was relevant, both times being when the FN FAL being mentioned.
