• Rust using all of VRAM issue lowFPS

Hi there Im using a MSI GTX1080 8gb, 16gb of system ram and a ryzen1700 with SSD. MSI afterburner reports uing 7980MB of the 8gb available of VRAM on the card resulting in low FPS (sometimes as low as 12FPS. Im playing at 1080 and adjusting graphics settings makes no difference AT ALL to the VRAM usage. i have latest windows updates/driver/bios revisions.
I feel for you. Its like having a Lamborghini and it running like a VW. In MSI afterburner, have you adjusted memory clocks, voltages or fan speed? I will throw out a couple other things - What are your power supply voltages like? What are your temperatures running at? Have you assigned CPU cores to reduce bottlenecking in task manager set affinity?
only thing i changed in AB is power limit and temp limit however i have tried at default too after a restart.. GPU Temps are around 65 under load. CPU around 55 Power supply is corsiar HX1000watt 80+ platinum so no issue there. CPU is running at 3.7ghz across all cores, Affinity is ticked on all cores. PC is wicked fast on all other games. which is why i feel its a unity/Rust issue.
