How does this look so far? I feel like it's missing something like height. It's supposed to be a murder map.

That looks glorious.
My only critique is that the Citadel looks a little too bright n' blue against that skybox.

I agree but unfortunately it's the only one that has the opening animation
maybe extract the texture from the HL2 gcf's, edit it slightly and pack it back into your bsp file? This should prevent compatiblity issues with other maps, and give you a more coherent scene
Don't think I'll bother, changing the skybox and lighting color seems to have helped a lot

Yeah. If it makes you feel any better it's gonna be short and not have much gameplay. I've been so busy the past month I had to lop off the whole final 3rd of the map, and compress the middle 3rd into a rushed, half-assed ending.
I'm not even done grayboxing the whole thing yet, and there's only a week left. But I'm so worn out all the time from my hectic, time consuming, and active job that I don't have the energy to do serious level design work, and just zone out doing visual polish and atmosphere instead

What are you using as a border to the playable area?
A border? It's just an invisible wall and past it is the skybox. It just looks like an expanse of desert.

Based it off of my favorite HL2dm maps and Dishonored. It follows the intrepid adventures of one Gertrude Freemont and their journey to commit suicide via police helicopter. As an aside, does anyone know where to put the color correction .raw files when I want to pack a map?
