I'm trying to make a server where there's only one team (us), and just enemies attacking us like Zombies basically. I could use a steam addon for the zombies; however, my gamemode I'm making is not zombies so I'm unsure if using a zombie survival addon would work at all because i'd need to customize it by a lot.
I thought about having my server spawn bots; however, they'd take up space in playerslots so I would rather not do this. I found the LUA command to have the server spawn them in and everything, but again. The player slots.
Then there's dupes. I have subscribed to a few dupes and messed with them a little bit and I think I'd like to use them. However, how can I get my server to spawn dupes without having to input commands; Such as starting a round, and then they could spawn automatically because the round started.
I'd also like to customize the dupes; make a different model on them. Unsure how to do that; but, if need be I can take the time to make a dupe.
You dont make a zombie fight server with dupes...
Well what would you use? npcs?
