It offers far too much protection for too little. I think it does a great job at radiation protection, but many players don't use it for that, instead opting for using it as a battle suit.
Never use roadsigns anyway so would not miss them, Radsuits offer very little protection from the cold as they are after all protection from radiation, Roadsigns dont offer radiation protection, each has its own use.
I agree. I have given feedback in F7 regarding this. I also included that the hazmat suit - has durability. as it gets more damaged the less it protects you against radiation. causes over heating when wearing them in the desert resulting in dehydration muffles surrounding sounds due to the enclosed hood cant use bandages, medkit, food or water whilst wearing one (syringes are ok) cant run whilst wearing one Basically if you want to wear a rad suit its all about the radiation. If you want to fight in a radiation area with swords or guns then you wont survive long.
Sorry, I am talking about physical protection. 30% projectile protection is too high.
Never had any problem eating or drinking or using medkit when wearing a radsuit ?. I use berries for thirst and running is no problem at all ? Isnt it the point of rad suits to protect you from that radiation ? , and as the rad zones are also the loot areas you have to go there sometimes when the radiation is up, also you might be on a server where it is on all the time.
I meant that you shouldn't be able to use ....
Why not, you can do all of that with a balaclava , metal facemask ,coffee can helmet, wolf headdress or burlap headwrap on ?
Yeah, but those things are way more open than a gas mask by far. I can see his point, but I disagree with it for being to stingy and the fact that running up launch site without water or bandages would be impossible.
The Hazmat suit is awful in cold areas though, if you wear it you'll die in minutes
The suit is still better than roadsign since that tends to be negative.
