The small notifications window has been bugged for me ever since the tabs were combined.

It just sits on spinning forever.
Is there no way to fix this?
It's working for me now, wasn't yesterday. Try Ctrl+F5ing or clearing your browsing data?
Aaaand now it's not working again. Garry must be doing something in the background?
I had/have this same issue. I'm not sure what your setups are but I eventually figured out it was my antivirus. I use BitDefender Free AV and it was somehow interfering with Facepunch breaking the notifications window like previously described. Unfortunately, short of disabling the active protection entirely or using a different AV I haven't really found a proper solution. I'm unsure if its an issue on Garry's side of things or a bug with the latest update to BitDefender.
Ok so I'm using BitDefender as well. I disabled protection, refreshed FP and the notifications tab started working. I re-enabled protection and it's still working so maybe it's just something you gotta do once.
I have 2 methods to see your notifications tab. One (from what i've seen) fully fixes it, the other is a workaround.
Method one:

Open Bitdefender > Settings > Exclusions > Add exclusion > enter "forum.facepunch.com"
Alternate Method using mobile:

On mobile, The notification window seems to be invisible. Tap the notification icon, this will bring up the window (you can't see it, though.) Tap where the notification WOULD be (in my case, it would be over the gray bar showing my username and coins) and this taps the notification, bringing me to whatever i'm being notified about.
If you have multiple, you can see if you can tap wherever each notification would be. However, I just do the gray bar every time and go back to home. This removes the notification I read and shifts the next unread one up into the gray bar area.
I hope that isn't too confusing.
Thank you! Really didn't want to switch from Bitdefender. I installed AVG, Avast, and Avira and was just annoyed at all the pointless "upgrade to unlock" options and junk. Back to Bitdefender and this works perfectly.
Hey! Thank you for this. Method 1 definitely appears to fix it for me.
