The White House has been scrambling to avert a showdown on the issue, dispatching Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross to Capitol Hill last week and warning that any congressional action on ZTE should respect “the separation of powers.”
AKA "It should respect my power, not yours.
Well there goes my warranty on my zte phone.
Frankly zte deserve it though
Just wait for people to start blasting propaganda that "Democrats were against this" because what's not being widely reported is this rejection is part of the National Defense Authorization Act, which yet again increases the military budget - the Democrats who voted against it were explicitly voting against the raising of that budget.
But I'm sure we'll be hearing about how 'both sides are the same' because the 'corrupt Demorats blocked what was clearly something Trump should not have been doing and/or even the Democrats are supporting Trump now #winning'
I hate that our democracy functions like a fuckin' strategy game.
Senator, a new bill needs our attention:
> Increase Military Spending
> Rescue ZTE Corporation
The military industrial complex and private prisons take tax money and give it to rich people.
