Prefab mode makes so much sense, hard to believe it's taken this long to get in.

People were jokingly telling me that it's happening at work. I just... can't believe it's true. My suffering might soon be over.
Nesting prefabs will be insanely useful for UI management.
My productivity is about to skyrocket. I love the game designers and level designers I work with, but I feel like I spend more time then I should fixing prefabs they broke.
"It's happening" is probably misleading. That's like saying the sun dying "is happening".
This is absolutely amazing. We knew nested prefabs were coming but these extra override features look amazing. Feel like some Unity games are gonna get quite a few new enemy types/vehicle types/character types or whatever as a result because it's just so easy to do now.

Finally. I've seen people fuck around with additive scenes and prefabs, but it never quite was there. I hope they fixed some of the bugs related to prefabs with this as well. Pretty excited.
This is exactly the reason I'm looking forward to them too, though just having them everywhere will be great

Ive downloaded the build, couldnt find the prefab view immediately but i only glanced over the inspector. Very keen to test it out.
Did they mention anywhere when this would be built into Unity by default? Or did I misunderstand something?
They're aiming to fully release/integrate in 2018.3
