They still happen, but they're never as outlandish as the stuff you'd see for the "Xbox 720" and stuff like that.
That render of the "360" reminds me how fucking early the name leaked out. Like, years before the Xbox 360 was announced, the name was leaked out
I still can't believe Nintendo stuck with a name that sounded like a bodily function for one of their consoles rather then using the name Revolution.
The word "revolution" is too racy for Nintendo, I think.

They're like the kind of design you'd expect from a sci-fi or cyberpunk work and it's so endearingly great
