• One of the World Cup cities suffers spectacular flash-flooding

Streets in Nizhny Novgorod looked like rivers as cars were stranded in the waters. It follows the England team being hit by a plague of bugs on Sunday during their 2-1 victory over Tunisia in Volgograd. Fans in Nizhny Novgorod had been enjoying the sunshine on the banks of the Volga river but sudden storm turned the medieval city’s streets into dangerous torrents. One England fan said: “I put up with pests in Volgograd and now floods over here- it’s like the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. “I just hope we don’t end up with a goal drought next!” Some motorists were left stranded as the waters rose above cars wheels within minutes and gridlocked the city. But as soon as it came it disappeared. “It’s not the first time – we’re used to it,” said one shopkeeper. The Nizhny Novgorod Stadium has already hosted Sweden’s victory over South Korea on Monday. Argentina vs Croatia takes place there on Thursday, before England vs Panama. wow how many women is that guy seeing
Dude's literally swimming in it.
wow if she wasnt on the phone while driving she mightve avoided the river
Perhaps he's the only guy
she's probably on the phone because her car's flooded
Vault 69?
People have a habit of overestimating their cars ability and underestimating the sheer Herculean strength of moving water. Seen many an idiot attempt to cross floodwaters here when it gets bad; they were lucky to leave with their life at the cost of risking the firefighters/SES rescuers.
well, did you know that there are many more women than men in russia? it's 0.86 males/female (2009)
probably posterity photos to downplay the incident and actually it's just chaos and the gops are looting everything
At least two more than anyone on Facepunch
