• Is there anyone willing to port over some models from Elite Dangerous?

I Freaking love elite dangerous! i would love to have an Asp explorer and Diamondback explorer as well as a Viper mk3 for some space themed scene builds i have in mind. I would pay money for those model. I saw somewhere where you can use a tool and render doc to yank the geometry form the game and port that into blender, all that's needed is texturing and porting over.
Offtopic but: I have the game on Xbox through family sharing and haven't touched aside from a small portion of the tutorial where I quit after not being able to know how to shoot How good is the game and should I avoid it on xbox? Is it fast or slow paced?
You could try using the modified version of Intel GPA or Ninjaripper (or combining both to get models from Intel GPA and textures through ninjaripper) Although I'd look around on XenTax if someone did not create a specific exporter already
The only thing that works with Elite Dangerous these days is Renderdoc, Intel GPA did add a mesh viewer/exporter but the game closes as soon as it starts up if you try to hook it onto Elite (I don't even know how to download GPA these days, they did something new with it) and while i'v seen some people use Ninja Ripper on ED I have no idea how they did it or if it even still works (which would be really handy since Renderdoc and GPA don't have UV maps (well both can capture UV maps it's the exporting them part which is complicated)) some people have tried to reverse engineer the game files but the devs quickly shut that down, this stuff is still a bit of a grey area for them (and as such they don't really like people publicly giving out extracted models). I have extracted a few models myself and manually made the UVs but the way they've done player used ships is rather complicated and I still don't really understand it. For now iv only done the Sentry Skimmer, a half-assed Federal Capital Ship and Chieftain, the Thargoid Scavenger, the Guardian Sentinel and all the Thargoid ships. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/132350/468a88a0-3f9b-4b93-be93-5aeec91488d3/FX_test_edit.png
Its really slow paced, It's more of a space trucking simulator but the atmosphere it creates is unreal! But i don't really know about xbox but this game has a steep learning curve.
