Destiny's a fucking terrible metric to go by. His entire MO is to grab random people's attention and go DEBATE ME BRO before sticking them wholly unprepared onto a discord call. Sure, the people who involve themselves directly with those calls are not very smart for taking up the offer, but Destiny basically sets them up for disaster by giving them no time to prepare and zero idea of what will happen, while still pretending that everyone and anyone will be 100% ready for an informed debate at any given moment. Destiny's also fucking bad at "debating" because he doesn't prepare either, he just sits down and hopes to fucking god he can come up with something good or else he argues semantics for ten hours until some GOTCHA moment comes up.

At this point Dankula has become yet another instance of the DSP effect. If you act like a retard all the time, whether you are playing up a character or not becomes wholly irrelevant.

Pretty sure people come to him and initiate the call. That's on them. There's a handful of videos where he's just jumped straight into the Discord of certain people to pounce though. Less to debate and more to agitate them. They do know exactly what they're getting in to, it's usually whatever bullshit topic they were Twitter ranting about before Destiny came into the equation so they really shouldn't be so unprepared if they think they're experts enough to tweet about how oppressed whites are or w/e. Dankula in particular should have been way prepared when he went in because he fuckin agreed to it ahead of time shortly after becoming besties with Carlgon. So like, I dunno what you've been watching but most of the time these "gotchas" just come up because the idiots who keep falling for Destinys' open debate offer walk themselves right into them. And sometimes arguing semantics is useful to try and make sense of the absolute word salads these loons spit out. Destiny is by no means a perfect debater, but he's consistent enough for Internet funsies. He actually tends to research his shit and has done so enough times at this point that he can just call off a source from memory for a few topics because it turns out white supremacists and actual madmen are very repetitive.
