This guy is awesome. Seriously, he must be the hottest anti-government (or anti-Trump really) lawyer around right now.
As awesome as this sounds on the surface, I wouldn't be so quick to praise it just yet. This is a pretty high-profile thing now, and this guy is fresh off the Stormy Daniels train, so expect some hype building and false alarms. Especially with a public call to people to "tell their story", I'm sure we will be getting a lot of unverified stories.
They have reached out to us to provide us with info as to what is really going on. We are going to blow this wide open and take the info to the American people so they can decide what happens next. This is kind of making me nervous, it's very ominously worded and frankly should be given more attention. What the fuck is going on in these camps, if they phrase it like this? I hope nothing terrible has been going on...
I'd say hold your horses for just a minute and let's wait until we hear something first. It could just be worded that way as is per usual for your typical clickbaity bullshit. Given the crazy shit that's gone on the last few days, I'm nervous too, but we don't need to go jumping to conclusions just yet.
https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/senator-denied-entry-florida-child-migrant-facility-56018595 There is no way there isn't some serious shit going on. I'm not saying it's literally Auschwitz, but it's definitely worse than they way the administration is attempting to present it.
Avenatti 2020.
This is precisely why I responded the way I did earlier. The context and circumstances do not bode well.
There are a whole group of extremely vulnerable girls, from babies to teens, *somewhere* that nobody has yet been able to work out, being completely hidden and cut off from the public and from protection or advocacy, by a large group of mostly men who hate their very existence. When the stories finally reach the news, and they will, I fear it will make our skins crawl.
I mean, the ACLU already reported on horrific conditions all the way in 2009-2014 at the exact same places, and through the same agencies, that are in the news now: Neglect & Abuse of Unaccompanied Children by U.S. Customs and Bo..
for starters Immigrant children forcibly injected with drugs, lawsuit claimsR..
Why does that article connect that lawsuit directly with Trump? I haven't read through a ton of the testimonies, but the first few I've seen are referring to mistreatment in 2016-2017, before Trump was even in office.
I've been following the pulse of things for a while now, and judging by the amount of "small" trafficking rings that have been blown open recently I wouldn't be surprised if, horrendously, a lot of these girls have been straight-up trafficked. It'd be an incidence of child trafficking so large it would make East Asia's child sex trade blush.
Ok. We get it, this happened before Trump. But he sure as hell didn't stop it when he got into office, hell he probably made it much worse than it was before. Like the only point you're saying this stuff Sgman is cause you want to make Trump not look as bad. Even though he let this shit slip while he was in office and probably wanted it continue. It wasn't until public outrage that made him finally try to do something. And considering Trump, whatever the fuck he does is probably going to make it worse. So no matter how much this conversation goes on Sgman, you aren't going to get your goal here. Cause Trump is going to look like a cunt no matter which direction you take this.
Can you clarify my goal for me? I've already stated in other threads that I find the current situation unacceptable. You, on the other hand don't seem to worried about honesty, as long as Trump gets the blame.
I think that is everyone’s worst nightmare, and it could very well be real. I don’t know how ANYONE involved with the policy could recover after that, but I bet Trump would find a way.
Avenatti is fighting the good fight, but it seems to be mostly to advance himself politically and build up a celebrity profile. He's no hero. I'm not saying to reject him as an ally, I'm saying to treat him with a healthy dose of cynicism
