At first I thought the top section was a video, but it's using WebGL to render it.
How would they have done this? Would it have all been coded by hand? It seems like a lot of work to code themselves, considering it could have just as easily been a video. So I'm wondering if there's a better way I don't know about.
three.js has a buncha stuff for webgl rendering
