Sounds like Tesla has issues. I heard their cars are kind of low quality for the price you pay.
It was expected as they are moving away from solar cities rent a roof thing, to favour people just paying upfront for them. So less installations. Plus they are in housing sales, getting rid of solar city pushy sales tactics.
Are you secretly Elon Musk? This reminds me of that time that Toronto Mayor Rob Ford called into a political talkshow pretending to be a random citizen saying "Hey Rob Ford is a good guy!"
Trimming the fat isn't necessarily a negative indicator. Especially during a restructuring period. It's good for a company to do this about every ten years. Not to mention Solar City was unsustainable in the long run and needed Tesla's bailout. Now they gotta make it work. I don't think this indicates anything bad. Keep calm and go long.
Elaborate, just curious.
Things like the roof leaking and other highly publicized issues. Tesla has poor QC compared to, say Honda or other Japanese companies.
Their 1st gen cars have always had issues, no doubt. The Model S had a fair number of problems for its first production year. Four years into my old S though, and not a single service issue. Same for the new one, no fit and finish issues, panel gaps, etc. There are always examples of vocal critics with problems, but for the vast majority they're very well built and long lasting cars.
