The new icons are great, but I'm wondering if we can edit the rating versions to look better at such a small resolution. Informative in particular looks, with the little dot somehow showing up as red on my monitor.
I remember garry saying it was all or nothing for community icons, is that cause of a licensing issue, or just for keeping a consistent art style? Maybe we can get some of the artists on this forum to clean the ratings up a little

Yeah I agree, the informative is shitty. The paint drips on the artistic run into each other too.
I gotta say though I do really like this latest pack of icons. Much less generic than the thicccc lined ones, they have actual character and aren’t as washed out as the other ones.

My biggest issue with these new icons is that the outlines have random breaks in them for some reason. It wouldn't be a huge deal on larger versions but on the smaller versions, like the ratings, it makes the outlines look a tad broken. Though informative in particular looks kinda bad regardless. Maybe upsizing the rating icon size a bit, like to 24px, would help a little?

To their credit, they were much easier to read scaled down. The new ones definitely need a little touching up
Speaking of ratings, I quite liked getting a notification when one of your posts got rated, is that going to come back?
If not, could I suggest maybe having a small section on the events panel on the left that details your latest posts ratings?

We can keep all the other stuff, the new forum icons are great. But can't we revert just the rating icons? Would that be a breach of contract or whatever?
The new rating icons are not great. The new rating icons are fucking garbage. Why does the artistic icon look like a bucket of diarrhea? Why does the cute icon look like a bucket of pink shit? Why does the snowflake icon have 4 sided symmetry? You learn that snowflakes have 6 sided symmetry in fucking kindergarten.

I suggested this in the wednesday update thread, but what if we had the community make versions of these icons with solid and/or thicker outlines? Same artstyle, just touching it up some for low resolution displays.
I hope no-one paid real money for these.
Maybe my eyes are getting worse but some of them are just hard to see and recognize. Especially with the awfully dark CSS.
Plus I don't really like the artistic and cute icons. cute is just hard to see.
Also nothing can beat :funny: pacman style funny so I hope someone can make a custom rating that fits this theme before garry replaces it with something "close enough".
These new icons are awful for the size they're used. They look alright at like 500x500px but they're way too detailed to be this small and the lines are too thin.
Yeah we can definitely do better on sizing them now they're vectors. I want more ratings, so it needs re-organising anyway.
16x16px icons would be the best

There's literally no reason icons should look this bad at 1080p
The new icons look like shit. They look like someone made them in MS paint in about 5 seconds.
I legit though the new artistic rating was a bucket of honey. It needs like a paintbrush next to it for it to feel artistic. A big bucket of paint evokes more thoughts of home renovation than art for me anyway.
Honestly I like them a lot and they're the best look the new forum has had imo. They could do with some touching up but stylistically they're alright
Please keep it as it is, it has to remain, no matter what
