This was a big project I was working on. The files became corrupt, so I need to start over. I had this left over in my files, so why not share it?

this is extremely well handcrafted for a gmod animation (knowing the tools you're forced to work with), great job
if only you could have different non-linear interpolation curves to play with
Agreed for a gmod production this is really well made. MY main issue is the excessive camera shake present in almost all of the recording. That might just be a personal issue though. Voice acting didn't take away from the experience as well. Which is a feat in itself.
Good thing is, with your feedback, I can fix any issues with the film in the final version. Also, ill be using the models made by ComradIvan, which will be a huge step up.
I can't wait to see Ivan's models in action, you're doing some superb work, especially in the sound department.
This is really fucking impressive, good job!
When I have heard the Garand clip sound, it brought back the memories. This has a nice Brothers in Arms feeling. Have a coin and keep it up!
I don't know what's your workflow and whether or not this will fit in, but if you:
Type r_flashlightdepthres 15360 into your console
Type r_projectedtexturefilter 1
Position one or better yet two (or more) lamps above your scene with a relatively low FOV focused on wherever you're shooting
Toggle them on only when you're actually recording
Relatively darken everything else (slightly)
then you could squeeze out even more from your scenes by giving the scene approximated shadows that can only add to it
this is a test I did a while ago with that ^ approach and you can get some pretty neat shadows:
