Wow thanks for the links! I was trying to find a pack for Gmod of the weapons to add from workshop but it only had some outdated weapon models from the early access releases and the weapon models were far from finalized by that point.
I know how to extract models a lot better from Gmod than DOI so this is going to help me out so much! Thanks for taking the time to link them all I appreciate it very much!
Sorry for double post, but I decided to try ripping the assets from the game myself since the ones in those packs shared were not all the latest models of the guns, in many cases they were early access models and some were even missing completely.
I am having a problem locating the .vtf files. Does anybody know the directory for them? I thought the .vtx files were the textures but learned they are meshes. I saw some place say to look in the materials archive but I didn't see them there either.
I already decompiled the models to .smd files, so all I need are the textures. Once AI have these extracted I will upload a pack of all of the models sounds and textures for modders to have access to since they seem to be really rare and the ones that were ported over to Gmod were a mix of final and early access alpha weapons.

Ok thanks I will check there. I like I said this Source engine stuff is all new to me as I am primarily a Battlefield 2 modder. I guess I was looking in the wrong location.
