I always found the hatred around Scrappy Doo kind of funny. While I didn't care for him as a character much myself, I didn't think he single-handedly ruined the show or anything like that either. Turns out the creative direction they took the show in after watching Scrappy bring the ratings was to blame for everyone's frustrations. It also never occurred to me as a kid that the newer stuff lacked Velma, Fred, and Daphne but perhaps it was because I watched mostly the older seasons. In any case, interesting video. for some reason i loved how often he cut to the same stock image- that fuckin stock market arrow going down came up like 4 times lol
