I'm currently doing a full playthrough of Ghost Recon 1 with all its expansions, then I might move onto R6 Ravenshield again
Worms Armageddon Still a lot of good fun with friends, especially with ridiculous custom maps.

Doom 3 and FEAR Not exactly old, but not getting any younger, but they're just right for me. FEAR is filled with vicious gun totting adrenaline, and Doom 3, while not a very good Doom game, is good in its own right for what it is, and I like it that way. The story is ehh but it ends up being interesting, with Betruger being evil from minute one, and with all the info you find around UAC.
Quake 1. You can't go wrong with Quake!
Been replaying Halo 1 and 2 on PC recently. Do they count as old?
Nearly 100%'d Spyro 2 and probably half of 3 with my Sister this last week when the weather sucked on vacation, on original fat PS1 hardware and a CRT no less. I picked up an RCA>HDMI converter to play my PS1 on my racing rig's screen. Playing a decent bit of Gran Turismo 2 on it. No I can't play it with the wheel First time making use of my monitor's 'picture-beside-picture' mode though and it's pretty nice, eliminates stretching weirdness. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/111830/03be88bc-d4f2-424c-8c6e-987996a0f4e1/IMG_20180625_145031[1].jpg
Most of what I play can be considered old. The most recent game I've played this year is probably Quake Champions, then a massive leap back to One Finger Death Punch and Age of Wonders 3. The oldest game I've played this year is Loom, which as a fan of LucasArts I found to be a bit dry but the GOG version isn't the best from what I've read.
"gt2" MY MAN *bumps fist*
sometimes i'll boot up Unreal Tournament 2004 for a quick botmatch.
SiN is a rad fps also i introduced self to dx1 last year due to /v/'s memery and i sure ve been missing a lot first time i discovered it was when i was a babby and got it from an old game journal demo disc i didnt understand shit and never touched it again for over 10 years even though i've seen some of it on yt later in life :v:
• Worms Armageddon • Rhythm Heaven (2009) • Streets of Rage 1 & 2 • Uplink • Age of Empires 2
I'm currently recovering from throwing too much dosh at a "rally" suzuki alto works that can't compete at all Pretty solid on the road though, can hang with cars with up to 100hp more.
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c4/BFMEII.jpg Why did you fucking KILL this game EA.
I still regularly play Sinistar because it scared the fuck out of me as a kid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcyBtVwAsfg scary shit, man. scary shit.
I am Turok
I tried to get this. £20 at CEX, £25 for the expansion. I'm not made of money.
Played through all of Rune (Classic, not Gold) recently. That's a fuckin' good game.
Every couple years I have to play through Star Control II: The Ur-Quan Masters. It's from '92, I think. Great game, open world (in space!), very difficult to complete the story - one of those old games where if you didn't do everything in the story right, you'd never be able to finish it properly. Also you can converse with this badass motherfuck https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/aliens/images/e/ec/Ur-Quan_Kohr-Ah.gif/revision/latest?cb=20080723093847
Wayyy too many. Also because some genres did not made comeback with a birth of indies - like tactical games, RTS and strategies in the spirit of some classics etc.
I have so many games on my 3DS but whenever I launch it I just keep defaulting to playing Tetris on Game Boy Virtual Console
do they rubberband just like in GT1 or not? I remember GT1 having some messy rubberbanding by pitting you against cars with 900hp or something if you had the least bit of mods bolted on
I wouldn't say it rubberbands, but the AI don't make mistakes really, so if you fuck up they'll catch up. I've also been racing underpowered cars mostly.
you need a Viper not because it helps, I mean, its a Viper, its fucking awesome
I emulate pikmin 2 every once in a while, Hands down one of the best Gamecube games.
Doom on Crispy Doom (it's like chocolate doom, but with mouse look on) And also, list of Retro FPS i played and finished: -Blood -Duke Nukem 3D -Heretic -Hexen -Hexen II -Quake -Serious Sam TFE & TSE -Shadow Warrior -Turok -Turok 2 -Unreal Tournament
Halo CE Halo 2 Diablo II
Halo CE Dino Crisis 2 Operation Genesis Spyro 1 AvP 2 AvP Extinction I count Movie Battles 2 because it's a mod for an old game (Jedi Academy)
I have a massive case of Game Boy and Game Boy Color games I dig through semi-frequently, pick out a game and play it. Kirby's Dreamland is the one I pick the most. If I'd get off my ass and restore my old Sega Game Gear (has bad sound and screen capacitors but I have the replacement kit), I'd be playing Sonic Chaos and Streets of Rage 2 on it a bunch.
Heroes of Might & Magic III That shit is positively ancient at this point, yet it is alive and well to this day (no thanks to the current copyright holder, HD edition was dumb, fuck 'em).
