Neither Dota 2 nor CSGO play Hazardous Environments when loading the game after getting Panorama.
I hate to be pessimistic, but it really does feel like they're phasing out Valve's old identity.
The Lab does play a custom remixed version when loading, you're in a room full of valves too.

Heck Valve getting normal people working there might be a good thing.
thats because they did change it before. Then people were so used to the beep sound and meep nerp that they bitched till they changed it back.
Curious how Valve will be when everyone including Gabe is gone. They're never changing the flat structure, so they'll never be "normal".
I like the new UI.
Is this the use key sound or the HEV suit sound?
The former, the lower pitched beepbeep.
I feel like I'll get annoyed with it soon. There's nothing really unique about it (Battlefield is almost identical) and it feels like I am on a music streaming web page. It's clean and functional but has no personality or characteristics that make it iconic to Counter Strike. As someone heavily involved with UI/UX it is discouraging to see such a large game be so uninspired in their design style. It's like they replaced the entire identity of CSGO with a better but generic version of itself.
I never played much Dota 2, but that game's UI has a lot more personality. Guess all the best UI designers want to work on overhauling Steam or working on Dota 2.
I think I've seen this somewhere

It looks generic as fuck but it sure as hell looks and especially feels a lot better to use compared to the current one
