https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-44618154 The foreign secretary is reported to have used the swear word at a diplomatic gathering last week. Airbus, BMW and Siemens have warned about the impact on their UK-based operations if the UK leaves the EU next March without any agreement. Asked about corporate concerns over a so-called hard Brexit, at an event for EU diplomats in London last week, Mr Johnson is reported to have replied: "Fuck business." MPs who favour a clean break with the EU after Brexit, in March 29 2019, have called on Mrs May to walk away from negotiations if the EU does not show willingness to begin trade talks immediately. I mean at least he's honest
Its funny to see this because now all those people that tried to justify brexit from a purely financial point of view are now unsure because the government isn't even pretending its going to be good for businesses anymore.
Truly the English Trump.
So whose interests are they doing this for? It's surely ain't the public and it doesn't seem to be for any financial groups or individuals. Are they really doing this out of some dumb, poorly-thought out principle?
"Foreigners r bad"
Well it probably still is for the public because they've spent years trying to steal the elderly and racist vote back from UKIP. Now they've got it back they need to hold onto it or else give the next election to Labour.
and english trump would say it's great for businesses it's just fake news that it might be bad for business.
ruin the pound for foreign investors to buy all the cheap land they can get I bet.
What land do you mean? Lands useless if they don't get planning permission which most of them won't so i don't see your point here. Its not even rich people that suck up land, its building firms. They fuck up more than rich people do land wise.
