The Red Hen’s owner, Stephanie Wilkinson, in her only interview over the weekend, had told The Washington Post that several of her staffers were gay and were uncomfortable serving Sanders because she defended Trump’s desire to ban transgender people from the military. The group with the bullhorn seized on that. “This town is full of people who don’t know Jesus Christ and rebel against Jesus Christ through their sins,” shouted Dianna Orea, 50. Saying she was from Michigan but traveled the country preaching, she held a sign that said “LGBT Let God Burn Them.” Her companion, Edgar Orea, began railing against “Sodomites.” Wayne and Jennings, the Confederate flaggers, quickly crossed the street to get away from the anti-gay sloganeers. “Just to let these people know that we don’t appreciate their communism and their kicking out our public servant,” said Chris Wayne, 35
*establishment refuses to make gay cake* It’s the restaurant’s right!!!!!! *establishment refuses to serve a person* resturants have to serve everyone!!!!!!!
Holy shit, anti-gay protesters were too intense for some guys with "confederate" flags so they distanced themselves
Wayne and Jennings, the Confederate flaggers, quickly crossed the street to get away from the anti-gay sloganeers. “We don’t want anything to do with that crazy religious bigot stuff,” Wayne said. im dead ahahaha
The hypocrisy is staggering. Good to know the same people who feel the need to defend Sarah Sanders are also anti-gay, anti-American traitors.
Sanders wanted this to happen, that's why she named the restaurant. Leave it to someone who defends child concentration camps to play victim.

Until she condemns these harassers, I consider she shares their viewpoints as well.
I don't even own a bible, but props to this guy for going all out on a bible holster. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/109738/43f52a29-5d61-4c5c-b1d5-c0320dd1fb95/Untitled-2.png Next fight: Bible holster man vs Hot sauce holster man!
Sadly I also seen the opposite. You can guess where.
“Just to let these people know that we don’t appreciate their communism and their kicking out our public servant,” said Chris Wayne, 35
everything I dont agree with or don't like is communism seriously, just fuck off with the communism bullshit instead of using it as your scapegoat
This sentence is scary, because this is literal "us vs them" language. "We don't like them kicking out our public servant." And of course "communism" is used as a scare word regardless of how little it has to do with anything. I worry that America has already crossed the event horizon and just doesn't know it yet.
The alt-alt-right
you know, if I lived in America, right about now would be a great time for me to consider leaving.
If they haven't yet, they certainly will in the next 2 years.
Real talk fellow US FP users: what will you do if one or more of these things happen: GOP makes big gains in the midterms Trump gets a second term 2020 census gives the GOP unbreakable majorities nationwide
That would explain why the past year of Trump's presidency feels like 100 years. ;)
Uhh, any game studios up north need a technical animator?
Or X-ray tech?
suffer until i die because i will never have the economic freedom to leave my hometown
Once again showing who the true snowflakes of this world is.
I can't even get a job here, what makes people think I could get one in another country.
There is major hypocrisy on both sides. Conservatives are mad when one of theirs is refused service but the liberals are supportive of it when they said there should be no discriminations at public establishments.
Continue living and trying to make sure I can do my part to make sure shit doesn't completely fall apart and ensure that order is upheld. Seriously, I don't get the people who say they will leave the country and what that'll accomplish.
As of recent news I don't particularly want to live in a one party country after Trump's kangaroo court is done ripping up the Voting Rights Act.
Do you not understand the difference between "you can't come here because you have sex in a different position than I do" and "you can't come here because you're rounding up people, separating their families, and putting them in camps, despite the fact they aren't hurting anyone"?
But gender/race/sexuality =/= political stance. Refusing someone entry for political stance is very different from doing it for identity. One is someone's outwardly behavior and the other is who they are as a human
But there is discrimination, from the conservative minority who considers it their right to use their religion to discriminate when that isn't protected? They can't be forced to make art, which I agree with, but the hypocrisy here is so clear it's absurd that every conservative coming here has failed to see it.
