I love it when dev teams do this for fans. Like the chinese overwatch player who jumped infront of a bike to save a woman and was killed. So blizz put a reference to his name on one of the space suits in the game with heroes never die beside it.

Ubisoft does this a lot. The Rainbow Six Siege devs did a similar thing, some of the arcade cabinets on the map Theme Park have a dead player's username on them, along with Jager, his favorite operator. The screen on one of them has a little tribute to him.
