Any chance we could get a non-craftable military style semi-auto sniper rifle in future?
Just to complete the military style weapon collection.
Already got a bolt action rifle which is used for sniping, Also have a semi auto rifle, Why do we need another one ?
We have a special military pistol, a special military rifle, a special military shotgun, and I'd like to say the MP5 should be a special military SMG. Why not have a special military rifle? Why do you need to be so pessimistic to people just posting ideas? "lol y do u ned new content". Maybe we should have just kept Rust in Legacy and not added any changes...Ever?
I'd actually love to see a military-grade uncraftable rifle using 7.62 / .308 rounds. It'd be a great addition.
As TerraNovaClick said, and as I mentioned before, it would be a nice addition to the military grade weapon collection. And I also agree that MP5 should have been non-craftable.
Not sure about .308 or 7.62 tho. Adding new ammo type just for one rifle?
Maybe. But in that case I have another idea - Why not add 50 BMG ammo? In that case the military style sniper rifle could be the Barrett M82 anti-materiel rifle. Since they have ideas for land vehicles, another gun that uses 50 BMG is M2 Browning machine gun - meant to be mounted on vehicles. So, we would have two guns that uses 50 BMG and since Barrett M82 is more of an anti-materiel rifle, that would counter the vehicles and make it easier to snipe Bradley and heli maybe. Also disabling turrets and stuff.
Balancing it could be an issue tho.
Facepunch's latest gun addition was a military weapon, i lost count on how many months it has been when they last time added a craftable gun.
