I hope this doesn't lead up to us winding down our presence, because you would a god damn fool to think that the North can be trusted.
And yet NK is right back to executing its own people. Smart.
Trump had ordered the military to search for his Seoul, but it unfortunately couldn't be located, so they're abandoning the mission.
Ok just for a little bit of background here, I'll elaborate. This has been in the works for a long time now. They have been trying to move 8th Army headquarters to Humphreys for the better part of a decade. They expanded Camp Humphreys a lot. When I was there, they were constructing a lot. It went from a little airfield with not much around to small city size. Yongsan was having some trouble closing due to some environmental concerns, delaying the closure. This is not an all of a sudden thing, in case you were thinking it was. We still got bases right at the DMZ. It's just consolidating the HQ away from artillery range.
