Every episode you could tell he was always genuinely interested in the culture, cared about the people, and found every little thing people were doing right with almost nothing that the western world was doing wrong with everything. Wasn't afraid to criticize those cultures either, the Parts Unknown on Russia was pretty brutal.

There's a conspiracy going on that Anthony was snuffed by the government because of some of his political comments, and having it painted as suicide makes it "easy to cover up". Apparently Anthony couldn't have been suicidal since he was extremely famous, rich, successful and not miserable 24/7, because these troglodytes think being depressed/suicidal means you're always visibly sad.

Shame he's gone, and even more of a shame that this filth is using his death to push their delusional agenda.

Reason is a libertarian magazine.
