What the fuck. How is this even fucking possible. So now if I just call anyone who disagrees with me terrorist I can sick the FBI on them?
Welcome to Cyber Terrorism 101. Did you know that you can pay people on the Dark Web[and Surface[ too place child porn on someones laptop through backdoors, and then have them send a remote image/anonymous tip to their local police department?
and because it's over the dark web there's almost no way to trace it, prove it, or provide evidence of it welcome to the black mirror that is reality
As much as I strongly disapprove of war crimes committed by the Israeli government, this guy did make a post saying: “We are all RESISTANCE ! We are all #hamas ! We are all HUMAN !” I can see why the first two sentences would raise some red flags for law enforcement if someone reported him.
Islamophobic, ‘alt-right,’ Zionist harassers I don't get this part I thought the alt-right was into the whole zionist conspiracy meme
The alt right simultaneously hates Muslims AND Jews.
Yeah, this isn't alt-right, it's the oldschool christian far right. Also it sounds not so much like the FBI is directly taking tips from these groups, but rather their messages are reaching people like university officials who are in positions where the FBI will listen to them making a tip.
its actually not really impossible to trace them. it's just given the two choices: to put resources towards proving the guy you're (FBI/Justice Dept) attacking is innocent, or to just slam with CP charges for less effort.
Hot damn this is scary. Has anyone written articles about this?
And that's not even making mention of the mass surveillance we have all unfortunately grown accustomed to...
That might be the most dishonest article title I've seen all month.
