The air was thick with the smell of spent fireworks grade gunpowder. Namely because someone was firing off color rockets when I stepped out earlier. That alone made the trip worth it as the smell takes me back to when I was a kid and Fireworks were legal in NY.

I was feeling suicidal recently and was about to start popping pills to lose consciousness so I could fucking sleep. I decided to seek help from a suicide hotline and found a local one. I took a deep breath and called the number. It called for like three minutes before some old man picked up and started speaking nonsense. I tried to at least confirming that it was the correct number.
Eventually he did say yes but he seemed the type who.. you know.. drinks and brain density starts deteriorating?
I thought I was going to get professional help but instead I felt uncomfortable and I didn't know if it was me or the mr flashbang epileptic on the other side.
And since I missed my therapist appointment due to an unhealthy sleep cycle I have to wait til august to have a chance to talk again.
Think I'm going to start playing Nier: Automata again. Still need to beat it.
