i wanna see the cut test and to see how long gold will last before it dulls(which is probably like 5 cuts at most)
Anyone else find this guy super annoying? I constantly find myself speeding though his videos and skipping any parts where he talks.
yeah I skipped to 37 to see if he would stop and I can't find the will to either skip ahead and hope he doesn't talk or just quit altogether
I like his energy, It's a lot different from most other people in the maker community who are generally much older and calmer than him. Nothing wrong with Diresta, Matthias Wandel, John Heiz, Frank Howarth or any of them really. This is just a kid showing off his craft really and I can't fault him for being high energy.
Yeah, hes a pretty damn good metal worker I've got to say but hes just the most insufferable person when it comes to talking in his videos.
Really? I've never been annoyed by it, and I've been watching him for years. He's been one of the most consistently entertaining youtuber's I've watched over the years, he even made servicing his shop tools somehow entertaining and not boring.
He's really high energy in his videos but it seems genuine, not fake like markiplier or old pewdiepie.
See I just can't stand that high energy, just slow down talk about what you're doing and how you're doing it, get back to working it and then come back and do it again until your piece is finished, the audience isn't gonna disappear on you.
My favorite youtube craftsman has to be Chandler Dickinson, I find his videos nice and laid back.
The audience probably came because of his high energy though, I mean he has always been like that. There's already plenty of guys in the maker community doing what you're describing. Unlike a lot of those other guys, they put of videos on a fairly irregular schedule because they show the entire process in one video, unlike Alec who tries to put out daily videos showing all the steps, going through his thought process, getting help from comments or other people in the maker sphere, he's a talented blacksmith, but he's still just 19-20 and he has a lot of learing to do.
