• Your thread title has banned characters - remove this shit, honestly

So I just spent 20 min creating news thread, when I went to post it - it said: "Your thread title has banned characters" And then it wiped entire content. Can you remove this or at least make sure it doesn't delete entire article? This is so fucking stupid. Is this meant to be some sort of idiotic punishment for not noticing single quotes in title?
For some reason news sites seem to use a different version of ' then normal which text filters don't see as a normal character
News sites use fancy apostrophes: ‘ and ’ For whatever reason you can't use these in thread titles so you have to change them to ' before posting.
That's fine by me but is there really need to wipe out entire content though
Probably to discourage megathreads in some way idk
"Study shows megathreads are 0.001% likelier to contain the character ‘ " Garry: "say no more, fam"
Threads with apostrophes like this ‘ have a 105% chance of being megathreads
This is why i edit long posts in a text doc and back them up by copying and pasting
That, or just ctrl+A, ctrl+C the whole post before pressing reply. but we can't do that anymore since it's using weird WYSIWYG format. If you have a quote, a picture or an embed in your post, you're just gonna copy a bunch of junk.
