You will bury solo players if you add Team UI. I propose in exchange to remove the delay getting a pipe shotgun. What you think about it?
Idk, why not
im still solo
I see why u would think that but i believe that they are also adding the ability to ally with people. So theoretically solo players could ally with zergs, which would actually benefit solo players.
That has always been in the game. but now it is more evident, I will continue to play solo 95% /5% duo,
Solo can still ally with other people or clans... Just forces you to be more diplomatic (read = less KOS), and KOS is what everyone is crying about. Therefore - team system is good... it helps me when I play solo and meet someone, we dont shoot one another and instead shoot other (bad) people.
@captainrussia It doesn't stop KoS at all. In fact, if you don't get the little notifier the guy isn't on your team, I'd say you're more likely to KoS. That being said, there isn't really anything wrong with KoS (Although I hate it and don't do it) because there are lots of backstabbers in rust. That's why KoS became a thing. Gotta learn to get up, go and get somewhere safe asap or you're screwed. I say this as a solo player that used to play in a clan back in the day.
You can find alot of crap in solo, oxums has the option to give you a mil-crate with satchels, getting waterpipe isn't hard eitherway. trucks with crates hold them
@Verrock I'm talking about the delay in the animation shotgun, so that you can get a shotgun for a millisecond and shoot. Almost everyone plays in 3+ and delivers complications to solo players. With a minimum delay shotgun as it was earlier possible to walk calmly with three or more shotguns and killing zergs.

it definitely stops KOS. First of all it stops "accidental KOS". I played for 5 hrs this morning allied with some random guy who had built next to me (after we killed each other, we decided to "ally up", so we formed a team via the new GUI). Now I always see him on the map and neither of us has killed one another on accident. Neither of us are in discord or voicechat to issues "jumpchecks" - because we literally just met, and we are moth "randoms". Maybe if the guy proves trustworthy - I will invite him to my discord. (thats a win for the new teams system) Second of all - I played a couple of wipes back and I also was playing solo, and I became friendly with one pretty big clan (traded with them and helped them set up on whipeday when not all of their members where on). Back then there was no team UI, so from time to time they would kill me or I would kill them on accident. I've had occasions where people took that "to heart" and decided its easier to wipe the solo guys (the nuisance) rather then having those accidental "kills". Since Im not part of their clan, I had to access to their voice. Again if the team GUI was there 2 months ago - it would have helped me (a solo guy) avoid getting raided by one of the guys in a 7-man clan who just got annoyed at getting accidentally killed by me...
